by changing the cam you only affect the duration and lift and timing.. it has nothing at all to do with fuel air ratio, so jetting changes are not requred with a different cam

No jetting needed, you want a stage 2 hotcam. Stage 1 is ok, gives excellent lowend to midrange power but really no topend, but the stage 2 will give all around power least it does on mine.

All hotcams tick, some 400s sound worse than others but they all tick. Its the cam itself and the way it is designed (for lift/duration).

so will i get more topend without looseing all my lowend or ill hav more of both?

lil of both really. For me I have good all around power with the stage 2 but it is a 416 11:1 and such.

Def the stage 2. No jetting. Mine ran alittle hot but mainly due to the big bore kit. The only prob i noticed was sometimes starting it. If the battery was not fully charged, it wouldnt want to turn over. Compression plus the advanced timing caused that.

With the piston you have and stage 2 cam you will be happy period. Stage 2 cam has good all around gains with an 11:1 piston imho.

If u have all those mods and ur still running stock jetting ur lucky the engine isn't burnt up. U for sure need to jet it with a pipe, open air box and all that.
