Thanks for the quick reply. Are we sure they're Merrell's ? Another guy on the bansheehq mentioned "hardkor" and that rang a bell. I think if I remember correctly, these two companies might have sold this same identical hubs. Any thoughts on Hardkor, I think I spelled that right.

Not Hardkor, there was a company that copied Dan's hubs for a short while, after he went out of buisness. But Merrell's and the copies have the holes going back at an angle like yours. Hardkor has their name on the hub cap, and are not angled the same as yours.

I'd like some more info on the spark plug holder that's on the other video that you have on youtube showing your frame. Did you make it or are they available for purchase somewhere?

Do you know who makes your radiator louvre?

All right, I got the hubs listed on Ebay. $9.00 starting bid, no reserve, $15 flat rate shipping to the lower 48. Thanks for the help guys. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230642800546

The spark plug holder I bought in the early 90s and I think I got it from James Lucky.

And I'm not sure who made the radiator louver, my first instinct was to say OMF. I have one of those big Afco radiators and it didn't have any mounts for the rad guard, so I just wire tied the ******* and surprisingly its holding up just fine.

Yes, I do, however, I don't think these are actually Merrell Extremes unless Merrell made 2 styles. Look close at the picture, and notice that the outer "face" of the hub on my Merrell's is actually flat, where these have a radius going towards the center cap. Also, my center caps actually say "Merrell Extreme".

But like I said, maybe they made different styles, who knows, otherwise, it could be a close copy. I know dtowndiesel and ridered250r have the ones with the radius like are shown in the first post, and I think laeger-n-ky has that style as well.

I bought mine from Dan (i beleive was his first name) Merrell at a race, and mine dont have Merrell Extreme on the caps.

But i do recall someone making copies, about the same time he was going out of buisness.

That's good info and interesting to know Denny! They must have made a couple styles then, because yours look identical to the OP's except blue.

Thanks for all the replies. I bought these hubs about 4 or 5 years ago, they've literally been sitting on a shelf for 4-5 years. If I recall correctly, I bought them from stoneconcepts, I can't really remember for sure tho. They were new when I bought em and I was pretty bummed out that I couldn't use em on my R. I was very close to grinding down the "ears" on these hubs to make em work with my Hipers, but I couldn't bring my self to grind om these pieces of billet artwork. :D

Could the two different style hubs be because one is Merrell's design and the other is Hardkor's design ? I said before that I thought my hubs were possibly Hardkors.

I did add to the auction description that these hubs might not be Merrell Extreme brand name.
