I can't believe I haven't seen anyone try this already!!! I tried this for shyts and giggles... I just bolted my 04/05 nerfs with heel guards (that are going on my Laeger narrow frame) to my 86 frame and they seemed to bolt right up to the frame with no modifications so far... fit perfect at the foot peg area, might have to do something where the nerfs goes thru the frame, but shouldn't be too difficult for the average Joe...

I have 06 450 "propeg" style nerfs on my 86 that's for sale. The propeg mounting post bolt hole and 86 foot peg bolt hole location and distance is the same.
I thought surely someone had already tried this and that it was common knowledge. Go figure!

Hey Troy, whats the scoop on the this new Saber? Your setting it up for the fun riding?
Are the heel buckets gonna keep you on that monster when you give it the throttle. LOL!

Yes its going to be setup for all around duner bike. Kind of like your Puma's... I've been toying with the idea of trading that Saber off on a 350 motor, since it is a lot of motor, but I'd kick myself if I never got the chance to ride it.

Here is a photo of the chassis inc peg location for a visual reference to the 2 450r bolt on peg locations shown above.

I may be asking a question that is common knowledge but all of the aftermarket frames i know are 88-89 style,

the only thing i thought that would prob work for sure would be roll design pegs and maybe their heel guards would work on their pegs

Has anyone got nerfs or pegs with heel guards to work on them
I mean something like these from rath

http://store.rathracing.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&product_ID=728&ParentCat=468

or even these nerfs

I've posted this information a few times, but it seems to always comes up. Here's a set of Roll Design Pro Series Nerf bars with IMS pegs. The IMS pegs are OEM direct replacement. The nerf bars are basically a universal fit since the mount bar up from uses u-bolts to clamp down to the frame. I am about 95% sure it would bolt up to any year TRX250R.
