I put a set of the HLS elites on my atv... Love em. I have two seasons of riding on the shocks thus far and no complaints. Not sure if you currently installed yet, but the GT Thunder linkage is also a nice addition with a revalve on rear shock to weight and style.

For the money HLS is the best value in new aftermarket shocks. Price & quality.

They are an amazing addition to what you have.. Unless doing XC racing, +2s are better for EVERYTHING else.. and they aren't to wide to trails.. (at least the trails up here). But in my opinion, +2s wouldnt be too wide for mose XC/tight trail scenarios.

but that's also pretty steep.. you could probably find a decent set for around $200 if you look around..

Is that 1600 with +2 a arms? And which shocks r going with. Go on eBay and search (400ex gtt). You can get a +2 arms, rear link and hls non rezzys for 800. It's a nice setup. What kind racing r u planning on doing? If XC +2 would be fine on an ex.

Yes with +2's, and elite HLS shocks. Id like to do xc but trails and light mx

You should get the +2's and run 4x1 fronts rims for when you trail ride or xc race, and 3x2 rims for Mx. That's what I did for awhile when I use too run a little Mx. With the Mx setup u will be right at 48in. And xc setup 46in.
