burgard carrier bearings???

i have a question... i bought a burgard cycle carrier last year and the bearings in it went this weekend... im curious if i need to absolutly buy burgards bearings or do they use stock bearings? like a different manufacturer? i dont rly feel like spending 50 bucks when i can get others cheaper. if anybody has any imput that would be great!...tks!

Im pretty sure you can use any bearings, I doubt they would be special. Only difference might be dual row (thicker) vs single row.

i just put duals in my ex go on ebay type 400ex rear bearings and its the 4th or 5th down that says dual row there 31.bucks and some change i think 19 cents
