I'll take them 450r shocks. What's your paypal?

Those look like Z400 shocks, the reservoirs are to the sides and not the rear like 450r shocks. They still fit fine though.

As long as they fit that's fine. I thought z400 had shocks like a 400ex maybe LT450?
Oh well, no leaks or anything wrong with them right? Also your mailbox is full..

Yeah the first Z's like the 03 had non rezzi front shocks but a year or so later they started using them. I want to say those are made by KYB like the YFZ shocks.

Cool, thanks for the info. They work ok on a 250r though?

Yeah, the geometry is actually a little bit closer to the 250r than the 450r shocks. I think they may have a little less travel than the 450r shocks but nothing major, especially if they've been reworked like they seem to be.

Got it Will...That will cover it. I'm in Bardstown at T&T trying to talk this owner out of some of his parts so the shocks will ship on Tuesday.

How about the nerfs with the pegs? Those fit an 86? How much you looking to get for those?

stever250r

Joe... The Nerfs aren't in the best condition.... The front tube rail mounts have been cut.... and a few of the mount holes on the Nerf Bars themselves are oblong where they were not tightened properly when used... They should fit the 86 just fine...

I will send some better pictures if you give me your email, and you can decide if you want them or not.. They definitely have some life left if someone takes a few minutes to clean them up...If you get them and arent happy with them afterwards... just let me know... .

Im thinking $30 plus shipping and paypal fees

Steve

It was mounted on a 1987 Style Frame.... I am not certain if it is actually a 1987 stock shock or not...Do you know what the center to center measurement should be? I will have to do some investigating...

Let me check out that throttle a little closer and I'll shoot you a price for that and the skid plate when I get home. I tried to get the top off to look at the internals and one of the phillips screws was stripped and I gave up trying to get it off.

Joe, I sent you an email on that steering stem.

I am not really sure... The bike had a Paul Turner Pipe on it, but I am not sure what silencer that is...

I have that silencer that was on the 87 i picked up, and I also have an FMF silencer that was on the 88 model I picket up...

Let me know if you are interested in either one, or both.... I will make you sweet deal...

Where are you located in Hawaii? I lived in Hawaii from 1996-2001... Was stationed on Oahu while in the Army.... I use to ride in the Kahuku Mtns all of the time.. Fun place!

How are the splines on the hubs? My axle splines look ok so I figured the hubs had to have wear, any idea which one's usually wear first? Sent you some messages through your gmail account but didn't get a response BTW.
