Are Clymer manuals as good as factory

I finally got my 400ex. Now I need a manual so I can do my own service. Are the Clymer manuals as good as factory manuals?

the clymer are not bad & sell for about $25,the factory manuals are alot beter[more info-detailed pic's]all around better quality & sell for about $40, I like mine alot...

I got the factory A buddy of mine has a clymaur and it sucks even comming from him. The facotry one is mroe detail and more spec's too. Very good with detail and pitcures too lots of them so you konw what your working on when your drinking.

I heard that clymers are really confusing

Get a true Honda Manual.....trust me you won't be disapointed.]

i have the clymer and i feel like it makes things harder than they really are, they seem to assume that you would just know certain things and don't mention them and that can leave you very lost :mad:

I have found a lot of errors in the clymer 250R manual. I have a factory honda one too. It is much simpler and easier to understand. Worth the cash.
