I thought I would share some info with you all, a motor in a tub packed all up is about 65-75 lbs depending on the tub, packing material, and parts.

What kind of tub?I shipped a YFZ motor which is heavier than a 250R motor in a cardboard box lined with foam, and stuffed tightly to avoid tipping/movement,and I taped the crap out of the outside. It came in at 72 lbs...
Rubbermaid totes work well.

Rubbermaid totes seem to be the most common, but whenever I ship a motor I go one step further. I've seen the totes break before, most often when somebody doesn't line the bottom very well.
The Rubbermaid ActionPacker is a bit more expensive, but MUCH stronger. This is also what I store all my motors in.

I use a rubbermaid tote but cut a plywood bottom piece for inside so it dosn't bust out if dropped
