So last weekend my chain took a dump on my weekend and I had to get towed back to the trailer...any who, I'm pretty tight on $ and was looking around for a good semi-inexpensive chain. Does anyone have any good advise?

Cheap and good do not run together with chains. You can spend the coin and buy a ebay chain of some kind, my friend did and it held up for awhile.

OR

You can pony up and spend the bucks on a 520 DID, RK or other O-ring or X-ring chain. The price difference is maybe 25-35 bucks more. It will last quite a long time because its just sealed and built better.

Go to motosport.com and get the turner sprocket and chain kit, for 90 bucks. Theyre steel sprockets and its a DID 520 chain. For like 120 or something you can get an o-ring chain in the package. But ive used standard chains and had no problems, just keep them clean and oil them.

good chains are much cheaper then broken cases, not worth the risk of saving a few bucks
