Did I get a good deal?

I bought a 2003 r6 with 14,300 miles for $3700 it has a hot cam ,head work and integrated brake light ,tinted windshield, chrome wheels and chrome swingarm and a cutom blue paint job. Seller included 2 brand new pirelli tires, front and rear stands and a helmet jacket. The only bad thing is it has a rebuilt title because the first owner pushed it over to get insurance money to repaint it. So do you guys think I got a descent deal?

You aren't going to get a rebuilt title for pushing it over in IL. My GSXR went down twice causing plastic to be replaced along with front forks. Rebuilt means it was a salvaged title and the bike was fixed/inspected by the state to get a rebuilt title.

Yep. Rebuilt means that insurance said it would cost more to fix than it was worth, in which case it was in an accident of some sort.

im not really worried about the title. Even if it was downed it must not of been bad the frame looks fine

where do you live? around here a 99 with 30k miles thats been down will go for about 2700. Bikes are very popular around my area

especially with the people you usually see riding ones with custom paint. For the most part they're squids with no mechanical experience at all.

hahahaha this bike is not squidish at all we even tested the guy by asking him questions like to show us where the oil drain/fill and other maintenance things. The paint isnt a gay a** one with flames and s*** its just a little bit darker blue then stock.

Where are you in IL? I just checked the St. Louis market and Chi-town market and you paid close to what a clean title r6 would be.

I live by macomb. I bet the clear title r6s you find dont have as much in mods as mine does.

A friend of mine just bought an 06 636 ninja for 4000. Got 6500 miles. Street bikes around here are a bad market. They loose 2 grand the minute their pulled off the showroom
