I've got a DRR 90 that fouls plugs. I thought it was too rich but the plugs are coming out of the bike a nice chocolate brown.

The mixture I'm running is with Amsol Synthetic 2 cycle oil at 30:1 if I recall. It's not mixed heavy on the oil.

When the bikes does this it stops running, sometimes it's cold and sometimes it's hot.

It stops running and I put a new plug in it and it takes right off. Later in the day it might do it again, or it might not...

Someone told me once that it might be a bad ground. Does that sound right? They seem fine but I'm wondering if there are certain parts of the harness I should check that I'm not.

I guess I'm wondering were to start since the bike runs great right up until it needs a plug popped in it then the it runs great again right up until it needs another plug.

I'm looking to sell the bike and need to get this fixed before I list it.

Thanks all.

try running 40:1 on the oil and maybee go with a smaller main jet.
Chocolate brown to me is to rich.

30 to 1 way to rich for me
50 to 1 klotz oil and you'll never foul a plug

dominator oil meant for 50-1.
we run it that way and never a problem.
30-1 with dominator way too rich.
