It is 19.25" eye to eye. I am putting it on my Leager builed. as you can see the top is way to wide to fit in the mount. Maybe I can change the bushings? and adjust the shock to macke it shorter?
Need your opinions, this is going to be the worst ebay buy I ever made but maybe I can salvage it.

looks like you just need to pull the bushings out all together.

It is not to good to do that is it? The hole on the skock would be way to big and their would be about 3/16" on each side.

I gues it depends on the bushing style, i was pictureing a center bushing that the outsed pushing slid into. Removing them would still leave the center bushing with the proper diameter.

But you would not want any slop either in the the shock mount. So you would need to fabricate (put washers in) something to take up the slop.

That shock is not the correct length for a cr500. Your bike will not have proper ride height, not even close. Not saying you can't make it work, you could probably order the correct bushing and change the travel/body to work out proper. Call elka and get the specs.

Yeah, their is no bushing in the middle. I am going to the hardware store and see if I could pice something together.

Here is a CR500 link shock for a Laeger frame. 19 inches eye to eye. Its for sale if any one needs one.

Specs, set up for 180 lb MX A class, CR500 link and Laegers narrow frame. Has fresh oil but may need a shot of nitrogen. It has been sitting for 6 months since service. Looking for $350 shipped
