I need help. I have a RAD tapered carrier and we were pushing grease into it thru the zerk when all of a sudden, the seal on the end between te carrier and the rotor popped out. Will we have to take everyrhing apart to get this pressed back in? Any suggestions on how to get it back in is appreciated! Thank you!

idk much about these, but you cant just tap it in with a rounded off screw driver or something that wont damage it?
just do it little bit at a time

I wondered if you could do that or not or if it had to be pressed back in. That's what I'm wanting to figure out

the seal on the ends, the big one just taps in and out no biggie.
if the seal on bearing pops then thats a problem..

How can you tell if you popped any others besides the one on the very end? Thank you!

I woul;d think the only way to see if any others popped out would be to slip the axel out and look at them

Yeah I was afraid of that. I was trying to avoid taking the whole thing apart but I guess we'll have to

I have a 300ex RAD carrier. This has happend to me a few times from putting to much grease. Just give it about 4-5 pumps of grease. I just used my thumbs and worked around the seal to push it back in. Mine didn't pop all the way out though.

There is a way to tap it back in without taking your axle out and all that. Them seals are alot toughter then ya think. Don't beat it to death though.
