Looks like he saw the first picture with the standard travel Elka on the right front. Just at a glance it looks like it's the same length on both sides. The arms look great. Good job!

You can usually tell from the lower shock mount. Or you can tell from the short shock.

Looks great but I would suggest doing away with the heims on the lower arms. It's way to hard for most to set them up correctly.

It doesn't matter if they are ST or LT. Just let the guy show his pics

thanks there is quite a bit of time in it more in sitting it all up then building . i should just build a jig and build off of that but this is how i started building a-arms long time ago. we have alot of parts to build trx450 a-arms swingarm nerfs same for a trx90 and a-arms and a set of propeg nerfs for a walsh crf. pretty happy to get a chance to fab agian . here is my grandson 3 weeks old monday i am going to love to build him a quad i know it is a little early but was thinking of the new lt90 plastic and ktm 50 motor. i think that would be cool. thanks for all ur feed back guys

I am just wondering what you do to calculate the leverage ratios, for shock placement and the angles of the a-arms?

Definitely a sick set of arms, from the looks they're comparable to Walsh. Did you use Walsh a-arms as an example?

Just wanted to say thanks for your help with my parts. I will start on our fixture tables towards the end of the week. Your arms are looking good.

racerx573 well i am sure there is a formula to do it but i draw it all out on poster board. if ur doing it ur self u can talk to ur shock builder on what they want. but most of them want 2 to 1 and put ur upper shock tower in when u draw it. the angle of the shock make a difference. i was talking with a good friend of mine (leager400) about it and i think he may have found a formula for it not forsure.u could pm him great guy to talk with. yea i have always like the walsh longbody 250r arms was think some old on something new would be cool.

no problem jerry. been great dealing with u. i got one lower arm done for the trx90 well post pics when i get the upper done.

well we are waiting on a new jig plate so the 450r is on hold for short time.started a new project trx90. i built three lower a-arms. This is what i come up with at the end but not sure if i like it. Well have to think on it for a while.
