I have a 2005 450r. It has a powerbomb header fmf pipe, hot cam stage 2 and a 479 big bore kit. I was wondering where to send my head to get it done? thanks

has BCS ever ported a crf head for the trx???

yes they have. jay the owner and his next in order donald both had hybrids with crf motors..
you will find it strange but they actually swapped the crf out for a trx and got better power from it.. they said its def one of those really?? things but .. hey the dyno dont lie or the flow bench.

my cousin runs a crf on his trx and loves the power tho!! the ports are just so huge its hard to belive it wouldnt be better.

jay will be more then happy to tell you what he did to his or can do for you.

Ya that's kind what im afraid of is having someone that hasn't done it before, im sure there is a fine line of going too far, Ill have to take a ride sometime to see what they can do for me... do they work out of Bettencourts? or is BCS a different setup?

BCS is a seperate business they do my motors. awesome shop . in house shock ,head work , machine work , welding.

bettencourts is my other sponsor whi is my honda dealer for parts and supplies :)

rollie from this forum is also a BCS guy as well as bettencourts too!

bnm motorsports they do great work and also the owner does all port and polish work by hand and is very particular about his work and is half the price of other people and he also fixes heads that cams got locked up in but them are mostly z400 heads lol his number is724 698 3363 mark

I felt a difference with the big bore but was looking for more. I was at st anthony Idaho sand dunes with it last week, and It felt better than the last time I was there. I could sit at the bottom of choke and have no take off and fly right up in first with plenty of speed, but it wouldnt make it in 2nd. I am about 230lbs so I figured some head work would do me some good.

Walsh has the hondas figured out. Also has some of the best equipment money can buy for building motors.

i have had venom,dasa,ct heads and chads motors have are the best i have had. His pistons are by far the best in the business. also dumping that fmf pipe will be good bc all they do is make noise, get you a dasa,sparks,rossier and you will notice good power gains just from that.

Ask for a $20 discount per day if they go over the estimated completion date. Hate to say it but they all say a week or two and then take months and months to complete. If you can get them to agree to this then you know you are at least dealing with someone who isn't going to jerk your chain.
