rath signature series nerfs

Did anyone have problems installing these? I can't seem to get the middle bar that connects the two nerfs to fit

I had the same problem with mine. My bike is a LTR450 but I had the same issues. It was a while back but I remember putting grease on the tubes that connect at the front of the frame so they would slide together easier. Once I got them together I had to bend the brackets on the nerfs that mount to the frame up front since they weren't even close to lining up with the holes in the frame. I finally got them mounted up with the help of a dead blow hammer. My bumper didn't line up great either. I had to drill a little out of the mounting holes in the bumper to get it to fit. I love Rath stuff to death, but getting it on the bike is sometimes a bit of a chore haha.

well we made 06 fit on a 04 and it wasnt that hard..

but my cousin bought the sik new ones . they slid togehter llike they were greased! no hammer no pushing . went together soo easy:)
