Top end trouble

Put new top end in when I start to tighten the head and cylinder up it locks the motor up loosen up and motor turns over fresh hone job and new drr piston any help would be appreciated

Not sure what you mean locks the motor up but ill give it a shot. The piston could be hitting the head and be stoping it from turning over. Squish is to tight, new piston could have a differnt dome shape or you installed a thinner base gasket. Try adding 1 or 2 base gaskets and see if its any better.
