I've got a CRF motor that blew up last year and i'm ready to fix it. The crank bearings went out and that stuff was everywhere. i've got the cases split and everything apart. my question now is what do i use to clean out all those shavings?!?! do i need to take all the seals out and everything?

Not sure about removing all the seals but some brake or carb cleaner should work fine. Make sure you clean it REALLY good, you dont want any shavings in there. If anything Id also use an airhose and blow it out too.

you should get a parts washing station with varsol. thats what I wash my whole motor with when I rebuild

I have a parts washing station and my dad suggested varsol. I just wanted to make sure before i messed something up. so so I need to make sure I pull all seals out, or is varsol safe on seals?

take the seals out and remove any gasket thats left over with a razor blade. also don't do any electrical like the stator and such

This. A parts washer is 100 times better than just brake cleaning everything, which I normally do after the parts washer.
