Hey guys i'm looking into buying an 09 Rm-z250. They are only asking 3,000 for it. Starts first kick. Runs great. Not to mention it comes with free shock valving to weight for life. 2 new rear tires. Oversized EBC brakes front and rear. What do you guys think? good deal? or should i try and keep getting him to go lower. He originally wanted 3500$ but i talked him down from there.

i'd do it. how many hours? $3k is a good deal for that bike. they sell for close to $7k new and the front brake rotor and suspension revalve are worth a decent coin.

What he said. I just paid $2200 for an 06' CRF 250, and the suzukis hold their value much better, 3k is a great deal, granted it's not an expert class racers bike and it's been whooped on since the day it was new..

the other thing is that the '09 is actually built by suzuki. not kawi like it used to be. its got an aluminum frame as apposed to the old steel frame, and they have a rep for being one of the better handling 250 four strokes. i dont think you could go wrong with that bike

Not too bad. In 2010 I bought my 08 kxf for 2700 so good deals are out there. I think suzuki's got better after they broke away from kawie imo.
