Stage 2 Hotcam install question

Which way should the cam lobes be pointing when I install my cam? I know you guys will say down, but either way I put it in, either the exhaust lobes will be pointing to the right, or the intake valves will be pointing to the left.. So i cant point them all down.

Another thing that would help is which way does the crankshaft/camshaft rotate while running when looking at the engine from the left side (where you turn over the crank)?

Rotates counter clockwise and yes the lobes face down always.

When installing you should remove the old cam and gear, then support the chain with something like along screwdriver. Then put the sprocket on with the lines parallel to the head and the top line facing up. Then place the cam in with the bearings on it and bolt it all together. Its rather easy.

If your having issues you might not be installing it right or something is wrong with the cam.
