i have a fmf slip on and its not a really deep sounding tone. its a little higher pitched. we all no how the 450s sound. deep and throty. is there any pipe that makes better power then the 400ex and is more deeper??

Its quite loud with the quiet core removed.

My White Bros pipe sounds really deep in a barky type of way. Here's a few of mine with and without the S/A.

Get a full exhaust. Slipons never sound as deep or throaty imo.

Check out Motoworks.com They have the sr4 slip-on on sale for $209. Best sounding pipe IMO....

I went and rode last night with my friends and one has a new 450r and he was running a full Sparks exhaust, and it was the best, deepest sound ive heard.

at idle it was so deep, and remained deep when you goosed it, unlike my FMF which got much higher pitched.
So I now understand what people are talking about full systems having "that deep tone"

it was the loudest ive heard too.
He lived about 2 miles away from the land we ride on, and i could hear him riding all the way to his house.....
I feel sorry for his neighbors....

Im glad to hear this, i ordered one yesterday without having heard one in person.....
Just hope it isnt too loud....

I checked the reviews for the SR4 on RMATV and it seems everyone loved it.
