I just installed my kenwood ddx 418 today and everything is working good except for I cant get my phone(htc droid incredible) to pair with my headunit. also my ipod will connect and it will show it is playing threw the headunit, but there is no sound. I think i know the issue with my ipod not playing sound, but the whole bluetooth not pairing is going to aggrivate me thats one of the main reasons I bought it.
so here is the order in a list from start to finish of how i tried to pair the two devices.
1. put my headunit in bluetooth mode.
2. go to the settings menu and select pin code and have entered(00000)and(1234)
3. Turn my phones bluetooth on and select discovery mode
4. It finds my headunit.
5. I select to pair the two units
6. It says pairing rejected by my headunit.
The booklet that came with the headunit doesn't show the steps to pair them it just says once the two have been paired how to set everything up.
Anybody have any guesses?
heres a pic.

my pick up had to be modified a bit to squeeze it in there but all it all it turned out alot cleaner that I thought it would.
