Does anyone run a PRO-X 370. Thinking of building one but was wondering if it was good for all around riding, reliability

Thanks

If you build it, get those crank tins welded on to the webs to keep them from shifting, cracking & coming off.

Ol 370 will have some spunk if ported & piped right, but I wouldnt take a chance on a crank not welded up.
Might sound like a lot of extra work to get done, but when them tins come off a stroker, it gits ugly after that.

that 370 must have some punch. How much does the average one put out for HP?

Realy depends on carb, porting & pipe, but if done right you could expect in the 55 to 75 hp ranges.

I'm not a big fan of my 370 but that doesn't mean that they can't be a good engine setup. . .

My sleeve moved inside my jug on two different occasions causing coolant leaks and big headaches. Started with a brand new jug too! But what I hear from the engine builders I've talked to about this is that it's not uncommon to have these types of issues with the BB pro-x/esr cylinders.

I'd do a sphinx or small puma before I went back to an ESR or Pro X but that is JMO. Hope you get a good jug!!!
