Okay... I am confused...... Is there any differences between the 1986 and 1988 Snorkel Intake Tubes, and Rear Brake Rotor Hub?

I need both of these parts for my 88 but I notice that when looking at the fiche on Service Honda, that the part numbers are different...

I found what I want on ebay, but they are listed as 86 model snorkel tubes, and 86-87 rear rotor hub.... Is there really a difference in these parts between years?

Can anyone answer this before I click the BUY IT NOW?

I don't know what the real difference is. I have a 1987 tube set up that I would be willing to sell if anyone is looking for them.

Ugh.... I just went ahead and bought the set I saw on ebay... They were listed as 1987, but were so clean I decided to gamble... I am hoping that there are no physical differences and that the part numbers are just different to distinquish between model years.... I sure hope so, or otherwise I will have a nice set of 1987 tubes for sell as well....

I would take $40.00 shipped for mine if anyone reading this thread is in need of a 87 set.
I hope it works out for you stever250r. Please post your results for us in this thread and then months from now if someone does a search the answer will be here for them.
Good luck.

86/87 and 88/89 snorkel tubes are different because of different frames. Rear brake rotors from 85-89 are the same. Rear brake hubs from 86-89 are the same, for some reason a 85 rear brake hub will fit on all years, but an anti-fade hub rubs on the carrier when used on a 85 setup.

Go Figure.... I suck at gambling... Another $50.00 Mistake....

Anyone need a nice set of 87 snorkel tubes? LOL

EDIT.... I got lucky and the seller had a set of 1988 snorkel tubes that looked just as nice.... He charged me the 4 difference in the auctions and is going to exchange them for me...So all is good... Whew.. that was a close one..
