race trx vs ds 450 mx can am

hi guys i have 2 ds 450s on mx race ready and a stock ds 450. i just got a honda trx 450 with a race motor stock suspencion.

if you have the honda and the ds 450 which one do you like?

what kind of things are you breaking on your quads.

give me all you input.

the trx is a solid bike 2 but how much will it cost me to get a real nice suspension for mx.

id take a ds over a trx any day of the week

if you have 3 DSs then why not keep your fleet the same to swap parts and stuff??

also, if you want to krrp thr TRX, it depends on what kind of suspension you're looking for.. be prepared to drop at least $1500 on suspension if you want the best.. (Used prices)

That being said, I like my Honda more than the other two DS's that I drove.. but I didnt get enough seat time for the Can Ams to get used to them so they felt foreign to me..

Are those artrax tires on the 450r? if so how do you like them? and You could just get the suspension revalved and sprung on the 450r. I couldnt tell you which one id keep tho, i'd need to ride them for awhile. Ive only rode a 450r(liked it) a few times and never a ds450

one thing to consider is availability of used trx aftermarket parts, and if you do your own wrenching, they arnt much simpler quads to work on then the trx

i've raced both and would have to pick the honda. it seems like every race we run into electrical and efi issues with the can am.

yes its the the motosports artrax tires. they are cheap. and they work good on dry tracks. and they look good. but i love the razors better. and the razors are like $50.
