:( We should be seeing alot more on this as there was a news crew inside filming a spot on night clubs after that tragic loss in IL and they have the hole thing on tape:(

It is odd that it happend but this type of thing goes on all the time there are some real death traps out there.

A freind of mine owens a pretty popular night club in the town I live in it holds about 500+ people and it's in a basement with only two doors leading out and they do a pretty good job of packing the people in when there are big shows.

Those guys were some of the originators of the Power Ballads. Give some credit where it's due.

I guess, but they never were one of my favorites..the lead singer (Jack Russell) looks like a bloated toad.

I almost went to that show last night and my friends cousin is one of the missing. I have spent a good portion of my morning calling people back letting them know that I wasn't at the show.

The count is now in the 60's and it's just a terrible accident. It's still early to tell what happened but from what they are saying the lights went out and NO backup lights came on, combine that with thick black smoke I'm not suprised that people couldn't find their way out. I feel bad for all of the families and for Great White too because it looks like they have lost one of their own.

I have paid to see Great White and would pay to see them again, I also plan on going to the Scorpions/Whitsnake show and just bring on Judas Priest. Yet another sad day.

Paul

They did not have the OK to even let off the pyrotecnics..and right now there's 65 dead and they said there are more dead still inside..:(

I've seen lots and lots of rock shows with pyrotecnics..but letting them off in a building when the roof is only 9 foot high is stupid...ignorance just cost a lot of lives...they need to hang whoever disobeyed the regulations of the building..

I heard on the radio this morning, that the club owners gave them permission to set off the pyrotecnics. I'm sure that is going to change soon. I also heard that sometimes in RI you don't need permission from anyone to light them. But that is going to change too.

My prayers are with the families.
