i was planning on doing a 450r muffler and today i checked CL right before i went to fab up my muffler. MAGICALLY i found a full big gun system for 75 bucks and im wondering if i should go with it instead..it may be a little louder but for 25 bucks more i get a full system with no fabrication. im wondering how loud these pipes are and how they hold up? also do you think i would benefit from a full exhaust more then a slip-on? i think yes...PLEASE REPLY FAST I NEED QUICK RESPONSES

I've got the Evo X on my 400. They sounds great, give loads of bottom to mid range power and don't hurt the top-end too much. I'd say grab it.

I've got a stock carb with a 158 main, 42 pilot, and I think I moved the needle down one notch, not postive. But it runs about perfect, no hiccups, it does have problems getting up and going if you chop the throttle hard, but I don't think you can fix that anyway.

is that with a filter or stock filter?

That's with a K&N filter and Outerwear with the stock lid and no other mods to the airbox(like holes in the lid or removed snorkel). I also haven't done the choke mod. There was a .pdf file on Big Gun's site awhile back that had all the jetting specs for everything, but it seems to have been removed. That's what I used when I jetted, and it worked perfect.

I haven't even touched the AF screw. I was going to buy a tool and mess with it to see if I could get anything else out it, but never really got around to it. The .pdf file/guide didn't say to do anything with the AF screw anyway.

I just used a small set of needle nose pliers to get it out and bought a longer and easier to adjust a/f screw from my local shop. It is made by MotionPro.
