those are the first ones ive seen, do they make a rear shock? has anyone have fox shocks on there qaud? just wondering cause there crazy expensive

just so u know u can get fox shocks from any year 400 ex they are all the same so there is no diferance in the shocks

i am in the market for shocks and was looking at the new evo floats. fox dose not make any shocks for the 400ex only for the 450 and they will have the same proublem as the the stock 450 one everyone had or has on there bike now it dosent sit level. i would want my bike sittingg pretty for 1,500 bucks

1. Buy 450r front shocks
2. Send them somewhere to be setup for you (I prefer jet, but GT thunder and others do good work too).
3. Buy XC or MX link from GT Thunder, send rear shock to them. The link eliminates the bucking a short swingarm has
3A. Dont want the link, get a + 1.25 swing arm.

Total is about 800-100 bucks. They might not be fox floats but they will be nice and ride well b/c they are setup for you and oyur riding style.

hell, just the 450r fronts alone will have u impressed. Dont buy aftermarket shocks unless you have to. Wayyyy to expensive. Hygear will prob be the cheapest total dual rate set up..I emailed them and its like 236 bucks for a complete dual rate set up plus like hiflo piston and oversized bladder cap

im not gonna buy any shocks for a long time but i was just wonderin if Fox made any for a 400ex, there site dont show em but they probably do, i was just curious
