im deciding on what quad i should get after i get done with my project im decding on either a 250r or a 400ex im gona use it for just goon ridin and getting into freestyle

the simplest argument for a trx250r is its lighter and more powerful. better choice for freestyle.

those are to totaly different quads lol it depeneds on what type of riding you do 250r is 2 storke 400ex is 4 250r is lighter than the 400 its a toss up bro lol
250R. I traded my 400 for my 250 and would never go back.

Dabbling in freestyle myself. The 250r, No doubt..
Most 400's are not peppy enough to get you off the ramp as quick as you might need. Especially if your planning on flippen.

Personally i'd go with the 400ex. I put a 416 kit in mine and was perfect off the ramp. But thats just me haha i also wouldnt be caught dead trying to ramp a 250r. scary stuff right there! are the 250 and 400 your only options? why not go to a 450?

agreed, not to mention most 250rs are so clapped out, to make one safe and reliable you could buy a nice a 450

I was just sayin out of the two options. id rather freestyle a 250r than a 400ex.
(if i had my choice of bike to jump it would be a can am.)

i thought about the 450r but just didnt really like it that much cuase the 2 stroke is quicker and lighter and its less parts that was really the deciding argument too
