I've decided to switch to a LED style front light, these lights work perfect. They are 50W Trail Tech MR16's. The lights are perfect, they are mounted to billet Lazer Star bar clamps. They also have an aftermarket switch for Hi/Lo beams and kill switch, but the MR16 are not capable of Hi/Lo beam settings. This setup with plug right into your OEM harness, no cutting here.
I have this setup wired up in addition a tether style kill switch, works great. The price is $200 plus shipping, and PayPal fees.
If you have any questions, please ask. The actual switch to the lights, fell off at the dunes as you can see but I will call Trail Tech and have another one set up. You cannot run two of these lights on your stock setup, you are basically flirting with electrical failure if you do so. 35W bulbs are $9 each from Trail Tech, basically the same thing as the MR16's you get at Home Depot.
