factory frames worth anything?

are factory frames worth anything if there damaged around the foot peg area? I have 2 frames. 1 86 and the other an 88 or 89. 86 is in pretty bad shape and is actually rusting out by the foot peg. 88/89 just has the typical crack. just wandering if there only worth scrap price. trying to get rid of all the 250r stuff i have in the garage.

A lot of the times it's not worth shipping so if you find someone local, it would be worth it to sell.

However if you have a title for any of them, the vin and title is worth a bit.

I would buy every stock frame i could right now. Damaged or not.

Shipping is the killer right now. Just costs as much as the frame is worth to ship it.

Locally though. I would deff pick up a few.

If the frame is really toast I would cut it up and sell the good sections to other members. That way at least the frame is put to use, keeping other 250R's alive. It would also be much cheaper to ship just a section rather then a complete frame that will be chopped up in the end.

I see it as a win for all this way. You make some $$$, others can repair their frames with Honda metal, and shipping is less of an issue.

well im not sure if the shipping would really be that bad. i sold a leager thinking the shipping would be high since everyone was charging so much for shipping but it was only 28 dollars. the only difference i could see is that i wouldn't be able to brake to the sub frame down.
