A fine looking Laeger. Must have an airbox laying next to the gas tank? Glad to see this project getting completed, should be an excellent quad!!

Haha no the gas tank is finished, and sitting in the garage, I was just still going through everything again before I hit the track. The airbox,I have two drawn up, but haven't decided which filter I'm going to use.

I'm working on the graphics. I'm not sure exactly what I want. I've been experimenting. Yea Glamis,I haven't seen your bike in awhile how is that thing? Maybe someday we can meet up out in those sand bowls. Actually coming over to san diego this weekend to get out of the heat. 108 degrees here today, 68 in sandiego on thursday.

So jealous you guys are just up the road from the sand LOL. We have some good friends that live in Mesa, and they said the summers are brutal heat wise. But I think I could deal with the heat, if we only lived 4 hours from Glamis...

Is there any good motocross tracks in the Phoenix area? Must be I would guess right?

Yes there are several tracks in the area, I can think of probably 7 that aren't much more then an hour away.

Boy am I jealous!! I only have one track less than an hour away.....and quads only get to ride there a couple times a year. There is pretty much nowhere to ride around here anymore.

I had pretty much given up the sport before I moved to AZ. After I learned about all the tracks I started building a new bike and for awhile was consistent 1-2 nights a week at a track and often once on the weekend. I don't love the heat in the summer but literally what has kept me in arizona is yr round riding. Hot or not... its riding, and I love the night riding at the tracks too.

Well either way, that Laeger is a great quad, and it should last you a long time!!

Thanks for all the compliments guys. I know you've all seen the bike. I just wanted to put some powdercoated clear pictures up since everything has been from my cell. I'm starting to get more cool ideas for the graphics, so when I can sit down and work on them should be able to come up with something nice. Its hard to want to ride it after all the work. I'm ready to put it on display and build a new one.. (actually already started to bring my yzf back to life last weekend)

Ok guys got it out to the track last night, finally! Bike rode really well. I was most happy about the suspension. I've reworked it a good amount, I went out with everything set at zero (compression softest on both hi/lo, and rebound fastest) It soaked up everything and was really plush over the braking bumps. The track was beat too. I'll probably still tweak it a little but just knowing its that good to start made me really happy. Gearing was a bit high (but I was a bit slower then I used to be...haha) Power was really strong though and its really light. I lined up with a friend who has a walsh trx with a built motor (he wanted to drag cause he just got the motor done) He rolled out first, by the time I clicked third and hit the first corner he was lost somewhere in my roost. I had to give him a little grief after that... But he will heal with time.. Probably going again tomorrow, or sat it should only get better as I get it dialed in.

Bike looks great hontrx265r !

A couple friends and I are planning on being at Speedy Sat. morning. last time I rode was at Grindingstone for the Rider Down benefit ride so I'll be a bit rusty, but it should be fun...plus the Arenacross track os pretty fun also.

If you go, come by and say what up...I'll be on a #31 Laeger CRF...
