Call rebel gears they will build you a taller rear sprocket for a 300ex, I run a stock 13 tooth front and a 48 tooth rear, with a koq/400ex setup

your stock rear sprocket will work, you just need to taper the holes for use with the 300ex tapered bolts. EZ to do, take one of the bolts to a local machine shop supply house, the cutter will be less than a Rebal sprocket!

14/48 or 13/48 seems to work well. We ran 14/48 and 15/48 all last year but will need LOTS of motor to pull the 15 front.....

Hey guys,

We ran a trx 90 last year district 6 PA STATES hare scrambles and ran a 15/48. I installed a 125cc big bore kit though. With a stock cylinder head and bore I would try one tooth bigger in front. You just want to make sure its revs out. Pick your longest straight away one the track and gear it for that. I would glad to help with anything else. We ran a trx last year, raced 7 times and won 6.
I spent quite a bit of R&D time to get the trx 90 to be fast and reliable.

One tooth in front equals three teeth in the back.

Thanks,
