hi i recently got a 400ex so i am new to this section of the site but i was on the 250ex section before i sold it to get the 400. I flipped the front rims on the 250 like many other people did to theirs. I was going through some of the threads and i noticed that some of you guys flipped your front rims on the 400. I was wondering what you guys thought about flipping the front rims and do you suggest i do it or not. Thanks a lot. -Dave.

Other then making the front end wider and handle differently.. i think it's just a personal preference...

Plain and simple, just dont. Arm pump, bumpsteer, and bent tierods are a few reasons.

^^ haha that hello kitty picture is jokes

If I were you, Id hold out for a set of cheap A-arms either here or on Ebay.. I picked up a couple sets for under 200 a piece (one set was a ridiculously low bid that I ended up winning after I purchased a set, but sold them locally for 300:p )

or, if you're not out for longer A-arms, there are 3+2 offset rims that will give you a little bit of width up front.. not alot but every little bit helps.

Ive flipped front rims before with no issues BUT I do not recommend flipping the front stock wheels.

If you want wider offset rims, get 10x5s they are set to be wider the stocks. There will be absolutly no issues with that, itp steels are only 19.99 a piece.

The rears I flip all the time depending on track conditions, but they also are not stock wheels.
