Anyone on here into them? Once i got out of the quad scene i built up my car then i needed another hobby.

I went with a Seadoo RXP X. I quickly caught the mod bug and its now a Stg2 Riva. Im in the process of mounting a boost gauge into the mirror:devil: . I must say, this thing is stupid fast, pushing out right around 300 HP. Im looking to pick up a older yamaha stand up as well ...

I bought a couple of skis this year. One is a 96 seadoo and the other is a 95 kawasaki. First time we took them out on the lake the seadoo blew a motor. Hope to have it back this week.

all i have to say is if you ever see seagull in the water usually means its on a sand bar. they rent jet skis around my way and about once a week someone crashes on a sand bar or hitting a piling butt

Stand ups are much harder but they do jump the waves better. I had a Seadoo bomardier but sold it a couple of seasons ago. Lucky you got in now, back when this was all the rage the waterways were over cluttered, state / marine police were up your ***** and you had to take a marine safety course. The course might still be a requirment but with the reduced traffic it's a lot more fun on the water.

BTW i think that's a no wake area where you are doing your spin outs. Even though you displace less water at full or 1/2 throtle then just about every ignorant bastartd running a 20 -40' boat at 10mph you will still be the one ticketed. Good to know you went from one discriminated hobby to another huh.

Check out Champagne Island sometime if you get as far south as Wildwood. It will only look like a big spot on most maps but it's a huge island off the point of North Wildwood. You have your own private beach with waves cracking on the ocean side and swimming/skiing on the back side. Plus it's not regulaed by popo so you can hang and party and have a great time. There is usually a large dolphin pod or two going to Cape May around 5pm.

Picking up a kawi 550sx, and a built 750sxi this week. I caught the stand up bug a few years back when i lived near lake Michigan, now its so damn hot I want one just to play on, and they are a great workout.

I know what your saying about the no wake my man ..... the cops really bust your balls for that. Maybe i was in a no wake zone taking those pics? hmm who knows. I took that boaters course.... but luckily they changed it to an online cousr so you dont have to sit there for 8 hours

LOL alright. I have it just about done for the most part.... the only thing i would LOVE to do to it would be to go forced induction... however we all know how pricey that can get on a bmw :p

It has full bolt-ons and full exhaust headers back. Sounds pretty nuts WOT .... similar to a screaming porsche :eek2:

I been into jetskis since before quads.. My family used to race Region 8 in the tri-state area..then the sport faded big time like atv motocross is now sadly...

The 96' XP is like the 250R of quads and the RXP is like the 450R of quads haha

I love my seadoo XP! the suspension seat it probably the best thing, that and they are very nimble and tippy (easy to roll) what do you have done to the xp's? How many trim motors have you gone through?

I have a 96 xp with x-4 hull so it has no shock seat lol..its with the 800 motor..as for trim motors just a few the salt water eats them.. i personally just set it to one position and have no probs.

...mods done my XP includes full umi steering system, jettrim hump seat, full R&D hull parts like intake grate, nozzle, trib tabs, etc, prok air cleaners, race computer, carbon fiber hood, etc ..only thing doesn't have is the factory pipe since i don't race anymore. So has every mod possible to let it still run pump 93 octane...Then the RXP has several mods too it has parts from riva stage 2 and 3 i believe my dads current project and we 2 RXPS both replicas except ones yellow (pictured) and ones red

Then we have 97 seadoo SPX with custom carbs, factory pipe, etc which is full race..(not pictured)

-bros will replica mines minus cf hood, current work in progress

-sister has everything like mines minus cf hood, and full umi system, no race computer..hers is one pictured with pink graphics...

I have always wanted to get one, I love riding them whenever i went on vacations to the Caribbean. I live in the middle of a island have the ocean 15 minutes south and the sound 10 minutes north the only thing that sucks is none of my friends have them. Does it get boring just going out by yourself ?
