help 04 660 raptor idles but wont accelerate

posting this for my buddy

he has on 04 660 raptor, has a pipe, stock intake, filter and everything else, it will start and idle fine all day but only with the choke all the way out/on, push the choke in or give it any gas/throttle and it dies everytime.
could it be jetting? bad gas? gunked up carbs?

any help would be great

Does it bog then die, or die right away like you turned they key off?

and varnished carbs, lol
runs like a banshee on nitrous now, lol
