Starting a Hybrid that needs an oil tank and wondering what people are using?

The old YZ426 was using a 400ex oil tank, but my new one won't fit with the pipe.

I was thinking of a YFZ450 low in the center, but not sure if it'll fit.

What did most Laeger YZ hybrids use?

Laeger Yz quads were setup to run 400ex tanks. You could always built something custom to fit your setup.

i have tried using a yfz tank it sucks its really wide and the oil lines are all screwed up the way they come out of the tank, just my experience. i have moved the down yubes for radiator before to make it work what chassis you using? you dont have to mount it like the 400ex was mine is flat against the back of radiator

Hey Kevin I picked up a Z400 oil tank for my hybrid...it's tall and narrow....I'll snap some pics and some measurements for ya if you're interested.

John,

It's for my Narrow frame Laeger. So if you snap a pic, see if it fits under the radiator in that little spot before the motor mounts.

If it works that would be perfect.

If not, then I may have to try to angle the 400ex tank between the frame rails or get a custom built oil tank.

Is it a true Yz Laeger frame or a r conversion? I can shoot over some pics that might help with specs and placement.

It's a 350X conversion. Pics would help - I've seen them with the mounts but not with a tank mounted.
