Hey just im a little new with 4 stroke since a have allways been a banshee man... so i just installed a hmf slip on and a k&n filter airbox lid on... what jets should i do>??? after i install main and pilot can i just leave the needle cause i bought regular jets which i might need not a kit..160-170 main and a 42 pilot???? give me some info please guys

a 152 main and 42 pilot should be good if your using stock kehein jets

ok i live in myrtle beach sc will those jets be the right ticket...??? any thing with a needle???? no need to>>???

Check out the "Sticky" section at the top. Go to the 5th one down, has a lot of good info to point you in the right direction.

The needle should be fine if its in the stock position. And myrtle beach is sea level im assuming, and im like 600ft above sea level so most likely that little bit shouldnt effect you

I have a yoshimura slip on and no lid with a uni filter and a 152.5 main was spot on. I richened up the needle 1 spot too cause my mid bogged ever so slightly but that cleared it up


EDIT: I'm at 1200 or 1400 ft. can't remember atm.

WAIT if you're putting a filter too i'd do a 155 or somthing richer..

Well I have talk to a few people with the impression to do a hmf slip on with a k& filter with the lid on and the answer were a 160-165 with a 42 pilot and leave the needle... Will that work..??? I'm close to sea level??? I bought a hmf jet kit and It came with jets for the main and pilot no needle tho??? Any advice would be helpful!!!!

Once I install the jets and reassemble the carb ow do I adjust... What screw? Location? And turns do I okay with to tune her it.... Let me know please
