View Full Version : Putting 05 carb on a 08 Trx450

Just a few questions:
The 05 carb has the hot start cable-I don't need it- do I plug the cable hole w/ a plug and forget about it?

Jetting? Where is a good start for the northern Missouri area? Allmy 08 has is the HRC Kit and Full exhaust(HMF).

Any other needs and necessities?? Thanks for any valuable input.

Dont do it the 04 05 carb is not near as good as the 06 and up. The 06 and up is a FCR wich is the best carb out there!
