I don't think you will notice much of a difference between the two. That is assuming they are of the same performance tier.

depends what front end you are running, if its a lt setup you can order them based on the lenght you need, as i am not 100% positive but dont quote me on this they dont make a short enough shock for std travel, and the beauty of having the ability to adjust the air pressure, gives you the ability to fine tune to your front end of choice, and rougher or smoother surfaces.

Custom Axis has more upgrades if you need more from a shock, personally I like the way my shocks preform but if I could try a new pair I'd consider Motowoz shocks, there great for the money and won't break your wallet.

well im not going all out i just need some lt shocks and ran into 2 pairs both same price. id love fox but there too expensive for me right now! i hear axis is just better all around but i wanted your input on this. the elkas are piggy backs and the axis are just the old style resis that you have too mout to the frame but if axis is better id go with them even though the elks are piggy

id rather have the rezzis mounted to the frame then piggy back.

For the price, reworking the stock rear and 450r fronts is much cheaper and will get better results b/c they are set up for you.
