anyone ever tune a cars ecu/ecm?

i bought a scion tc and i want to put a turbo in it and tune it with a computer has anyone done this? i know u can buy all kinds of chips but they are not worth it i want to tune it with a laptop.

idk about with a scion. i know you can do it with a hondata on a honda or a nistune on a nissan. i would check with the trd performance department and see if they make something for it. trd stands for toyota racing development.

i should have got a 350z.... there is not alot of after market parts for the tc.... i like the car but i wanted to mod the **** out of it but idk now :p

trd can tune it but **** that they will charge to much im sure... plus i want to do it and mess with it :devil:

Find a custom shop, they will steer you in the right direction.

EFI live may have something in your department.. Get on some scion forums and find what custom tuners are being used.

mega squrt its a piggy back set up that i used on 2.3 ford turbos. works great. a buddy has it on his 350z
