Hey Guys,
I have jsut about given up on finding the wires that need to be spliced together to let the 300 start in any gear w/o the clutch lever being pulled in. I need to know the wire colors. They weren't hooked up to the clutch lever switch when I got it. So any help would be appreciated.

why would you want to start a 4wheeler with it in gear and the clutch in? put ur manuel car in 1st and crank it over. it moves. you'll burn out your starter

I wan tto be able to start in any gear. As of now it will ONLY start in Neutral even with the clutch engaged.

its the 2 green wires going into the clutch perch...cut them then wire them together and cover it up with black tape

well if you look on the perch there will be a place where 2 wires plugs in..unwrap the wiring harness a little coming back from the e start button and see if the previous owner just didnt unplug these wires and not connect them....then cover em up with black tape

THe bike's previous owner had really messed up the wiring so none of it is where it should be.

Actually on most vehicles with a manual tranny (the newer ones anyay like 85 to present) you have to push in the clutch to complete the starting circuit. They come equipped with a neutral safety switch. :D

Yes I know, I bypassed the Neutral safety switch on my 400 but the wires aren't in the clutch perch on the 300EX. I need someone to help me find which wires I need to splice together to bypass the Neutral Safety Switch. Someone just tell me what colors I need to splice and where the wires originate from ie: the coil, cdi.... Any help is greatly appreciated.
