I purchased new wheels to make the front of the quad narrower. I know there was mention of modifing Z400 hubs to make the rear end narrow. What exactly needs to be done to the hubs to make them work??? Is ebay the best place to shop for the hubs?? Thanks

Bob, ebay is the best place to find used z400 hubs for cheap. Once you get them, take them to a machine shop and have them cut down the hub. I never had it done but someone told me it don't cost very much for a machine shop to do it. Also, I cannot remember how much of the hub should be cut off on each piece. I'll look for the answer to that and get back to you. If you decide to go with hubs that are machined down, you will have to put a couple of washers on where the castle nut goes against. good luck on your mod.
