08 trx450r motor quastions need help with this crf450r head

i have a 08 trx450r im going to do some serous motor work first off what year crf head will fit my 08 2 can i still put after market cam in it like sparks baldwin 3 can i put bigger valves with it im wanting bigger valves port polished head cam 5 angle valve job can i still do all this withe crf head help me please

02-08 will fit 02-06 have 36/31 valves 07-08 have 36/30. Yes you can still install different cams. I like the 06 head for the bigger ex valves and the better seats.

can i still port and polish thead and can i run all the sparks valve train in it and r u sure those will fit my year i just dont want to waste money

that's what I thought also then I heard that the improved seats went until 07...

do you know that the 06 definitely changed the seats?

if so its definitely the best year being 31mm exhaust and better material seats,


but Like I said i read someplace that it was actually 07 when it started???

and like fmfhonda stated the valves are 36/30 on the newer crf heads so if you want to reuse your old valves then you have to use 07 up crf head
