So far, ive had my EX for three years its a 2000 and i bought it off my dad who bought it new. The past three years i have had to swap out the axle bearings every spring. I have tried several different brands such as Pivot Works, Lonestar, and Honda's OEMs. But every time i pull the bearings out they are rusty, dusty, and wont even spin. What is causing this? I change the seals every time, I just got a new Durablue sprocket hub and new OEM carrier because the Lonestar one sucked. If anyone can help please inform me

Where you ride extremely wet and muddy? You often go into the water?

I coated everything in there with a very thick coat of wheel bearing grease. The carrier itself, inside the inner races of the bearings, outside the bearings where the seals go and the axle. Always works fine.

Your riding conditions are most likely the cause of this. I recommend taking your axle out every now and then and coating the bearings with marine grease, or get an aftermarket dual row carrier with a grease zerk if u are having that much trouble with em.

grease is your friend!!! ;)

and if you have the tools you put a grease zerk in your stock carrier when ever you change out your bearings.
