help.. new bike

just recently got a cannondale 440..
was told it needed gasket kit and one way bearing for starter..

what are the most important updates to do to the cannondale 440s to make them relieable and have good performance.. thanks russ

Proper assembly is #1.#2 Is all the updates with Big end rodbearing being big one to proper fuel flow and good battery and charging system being most basic.Best advice I can give is find one of the handful of trusted builders and listen to them.Dont take shortcuts and do the same preventive maintainence any 450 4st needs.
