Useful Honda 300 Fourtrax tips?

I just want tips and pointers that will help me keep my 1988 Honda 300 Fourtrax 2WD in good running order. Thank you!! Oh by the way I'm new to the forum and ATVs :P

Oh I might as well list the ailments of my $41 dollar Honda.. The fuel tank is rusty and leaks, the right rear hub is welded to the axle badly, it needs new dashboard (lights, and ignition switch) it needs a new master cylinder, and front brake shoes, also needs a washer in the steering shaft and finally the carb needs a cleaning/rebuild.. Not a bad list right??
