I'm looking to buy another vehicle but I can't decide what? I have a procharged mustang and r6 and I need a daily driver. I had a 95 geo metro but the frame rusted through.

So it's either between...

-a cheap car that does good on gas. I saw some nice cavaliers and focuses and stuff for cheap

-a s10 or ranger. But I def want a 6cyl so i caN
Pull a small trailer and 4x4. And probably extended cab too

-or else a bigger work van that I can put my bike in and take to races

I don't wanna spend over like 2000 but I can't make up my mind at all. I don't really care about gas since I walk to work and never drive and have the r6. I really wanna get a van but idk if it's practical since I will be driving it around besides to the races

I'd say a Ranger or something of the like. It's always good to have a truck around.

Hell I just sold a good running lifted ranger for $550. I wanted it out of my yard/garage so it went cheap. Ended up kid I sold it to turned it for $2200. Oh well.

I just bought a '91 Civic for $1800 and am getting 34mpg. Great daily driver. My truck wasn't cuttin the daily driver mpg.

Damn man you should've let me know. The only thing is the only 4x4 6cyl trucks I see for 2 grand have like 200,000 on them

Ranger is probably the ticket, an old toyota is gonna be 2x that much.

I drive a 92 S10 4.3L V6 4x4. I bought it like 4 years ago for $1800, put new shocks on and and a few other things. It has done realy good for me, even driving back and forth to school 130 miles every other weekend. I also put a high flow catalytic converter on it and a flowmaster muffler which made it get 22-23 mpg, which makes me very happy. I actually just stripped all the ugly molding off of it and painted it out in my driveway a few weeks ago, this is what it looks like now.

I got myself a buick century and while its a pappymobile (not you Ken, old people in general :blah: ) But I love it. Its spacious. gets decent milage for a 3.1 (22) and it rides nice. I was gonna flip it when I bought it, but I think im gonna keep it.

GET THE WORK VAN.

You could possibly run a small buisness out of it, load quads and dirtbikes in it, sleep in it....it would be pretty cool.

I'd go with the compact truck. Like someone else said, it's always good to have a truck around.

I'd go with an old Toyota but I doubt you'll find a nice one for $2k. Just keep your eyes peeled for a low mileage Ranger 4x4 V6 I guess.....

I know, it would be badass but I think I would get tired of driving it around eventually. I ride the r6 a lot in the summer but I would need to drive the van in the winter. But like I said I don't drive much, I can walk to work everyday and if I go anywhere in the evenings I get friends to drive :ermm: does anyone else have one?

I know S-10s pretty well. A 4.3 4x4 auto isn't going to get very good mileage. A 5spd maybe. And you will have to be looking for a deal cause anything that gets good mpg is bringing murder around here right now. It's going to be hard to find a good 4x4 that isn't going to need work for that price.
