Quick Question about 400ex choke.

I had my 400ex for a little under a year now and ever since i had it the choke was not like my friends 450r or 400ltz or my other atvs. When i first get my 400 out i put the choke on and then wate for about 1-2 mins till it starts sputtering than turn the choke completely off then just let it idle for about 5mins or more. If i don't let it idle it will just die when i give it gas. I was used to putting the choke on for a good time idling high until it wormed up with other atvs. Are all the 400exs like that?

just up the pilot jet and remove the choke, then you wont even notice it.

my 400 was like that theres just a choke trick (whitch by the way the choke is a pain) 1.chokeit give it 1/4 throttle start ease the choke to half wait a seconend shut choke off :):)

Put a 40 pilot in, no more choke issues at all.

Mine is a 42 pilot and even with my mods I still need to use half choke to start it-wont die tho.
