I like the thing abou the Raptor saying the reverse is a nice touch. Which it is, but it goes on to say that with the Raptor being 400 lbs it may be difficult to move around it a tight area. These must be a bunch of chicks riding these things:eek:

I am glad I only get the mags for the purty pictures :D Stupid Polaris.... I will never like them just because, I dont mind if people own them and ride them but I never will. They should make a Fugi graphics kit for the Predator....

It looks like the 400ex is rated higher than the Polaris to me.

Could you post the pages where it talks about the Dales? If it's not to much trouble ofcourse.

if i was a honda guy i wouldn't be upset. all they (magazine guys) are trying to do is make honda come out w/ something better. that's why they bash and say what they do. and also not even include them in their shootouts. my late father told me, "don't believe anything you read, and only half of what you see." if you like something, who cares what everyone else thinks. that's why i ride yamaha and hang out here. you guys bash everything that's not honda, but i like being different. who cares? your day will come. honda is just waiting to see everyone elses hand.:)

thats why we have exriders, becuase people have acctually rode the things and know what is right. and when mags do stupid shootouts like this we can "point and laugh" lol

im not bashing any other company but how can you compare a 400ex with a polaris trail blazer and have it come close in MX...come on thats just nuts..i have nothing against any other brands i have friends who ride banshees and blaster and we all love our quads but this article is just plain ridiculous...the 400EX is race proven...how many other quads can say that...and the rapter doing that well in trails come on ...what are they smokin :rolleyes:

Why is the glamis rated so terribly. Its pretty much a speed with different mapping. Did they try to race it on the MX track with paddles?:confused:

If you read what it says, they say they have never even ridden the Glamis. It's all speculation. Direct from the floor, the Glamis wouldn't be that good in other situations because of the tires. You have to keep in consideration that they rate it with the sand tires because thats what it comes with. Other quads could have gotten higher marks w/ different tires also but they aren't rating quads with "aftermarket" parts on them.

I'm not saying that all the ratings are accurate. I'm just saying that the Glamis getting bad ratings in other catagories makes sence.

Just to let you guys know though... I don't base any of my decisions on quads on what magazines say. IMO, magazine editors are complete idiots when it comes to quads. They know NOTHING about them and get all there GOOD info from racers they interview. The only reason I wanted to see the C-dale pages is because I always like reading what people have to say about them (whether it be in a magazine, website, or person to person).
